The successful candidate must be able to:

* Assist qualified electrician in carrying out maintenance and repair of electrical faults (sockets, switches, light fittings).
* Prepare and organise tools, materials and equipment.
* Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, systems and equipment.
* Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
* Observe electrical safety standards procedure.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the superiors.

Qualifications and Experience

The position requires an individual with:

* At least 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and Science (Grade C or better).
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical work or related field.
* Entry level candidates’ i.e. basic short course certificate in Electricals or Worker Exemption (WX) Certificate.
* The ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision and readiness to work flexible hours when required.
